Dr. Sarah Eitze

Background

Dr. Sarah Eitze is a health psychologist. Her dissertation focussed on vaccination decision making and the influence of sequelae knowledge, health literacy and reactance. The determinants of vaccination behaviour are a continuing research interest.  In her role as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Planetary Health Behavior (IPB), Dr. Sarah Eitze complements her research with the topics of pandemic preparedness, women’s health with a special focus on the stigmatisation of endometriosis and menstrual health and patient empowerment. At the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, Sarah Eitze is deputy director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Behavioral Research in Global Health (WHO CC BRIGHT).
