The University of Erfurt participated in the German Scholarship Programm of the Federal Government. We award these scholarships annually to particularly talented, high-performing and socially committed students.
The income-independent scholarship is 300 euros per month. Half of it is financed by sponsors and the other half by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
The Deutschlandstipendium is awarded once a year in the winter semester at the University of Erfurt. The application period of 6 weeks is from June to August and will be announced in good time. The scholarship is paid monthly and is granted for a maximum of one year.
It is possible to reapply after the grant period has expired. The maximum funding period is generally based on the standard period of study. It is independent of income and can be combined with BAföG funding.
There is no legal entitlement to funding from the Deutschlandstipendium.
The next call for applications for a scholarship starting on 01.10.2024 will take place in the summer semester. The exact period will be announced here in good time.
The application portal is only open during the application period. Applications can only be submitted online here.
