- 2007 Abschluss als Magister artium
- Seit November 2008 Promotion an der Universität Erfurt zum Thema: "Modernisierung im orthodox-christlichen Kontext: Der Heilige Berg Athos und die Herausforderungen der Modernisierungsprozesse (seit 1988)."
