Research Interest

My research interests are in the field of Development Economics, Economic growth, Public Policy, Good Governance and Politics. I have Bachelor degree in Economics, and Master degree in Public Policy from Willy Brandt School of Public Policy in Germany. My Bachelor thesis is about the impact of International aid on rural livelihood in Afghanistan. In my Master program I have written my thesis about Sub-National Governance in Afghanistan. In my PhD, I conduct research on the impact of economic growth on income inequality in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2016. In my professional career, I have worked with International NGOs, Government ministries and The World Bank in Afghanistan.
