Course Details

The master program Special Needs and Integrational Education serves as a practically oriented yet academic qualification for professional assistance of people with handicaps and disabilities in non-school contexts. The curriculum focuses on preparing students for occupations dealing with children, young adults, and adults with special needs concerning their learning abilities, behavior, and mental development. Students will learn about the individual, social, and societal circumstances surrounding handicaps and disabilities. Other skills and abilities taught in the program include the design and support of teaching and learning processes and the provision of assistance, guidance, and support under circumstances specific to handicaps and disabilities throughout a person’s lifetime.
