Opening hours of the library

  • Access to the library is only granted to persons who can prove 3G status, i.e. who have been vaccinated against COVID 19, have recovered or have currently tested negative. The relevant certificate can be checked by authorised staff, including library staff, student assistants or security staff. In addition to the respective certificate, proof of identity (e.g. thoska, identity card, passport) must also be carried and shown on request.
  • Access to the library and on all routes only possible with qualified (medical) mask, e.g. FFP2 or surgical mask. It can be removed at the workplace.
  • Please keep your distance of at least 1,50 m to other people in the entire library. Please observe information signs and distance markings.
  • When entering and leaving the library, the user number has to be recorded via scanner to enable contact tracing if necessary. Alternatively, use a contact form.
  • For users with a login of Erfurt University 200 individual working places and 6 rooms for small groups are available. They have to be booked in advance for a max. of 4 hours via the reservation system UB-Platz.
  • External users can still use the holdings and copying equipment in the library, but no reservation of working places is possible.

  • In addition to our regular electronic accesses, a number of further services is available from outside the campus via Shibboleth.
