The University of Erfurt invites those interested in phd studies and phd students to the PhD Day.

Are you wondering whether writing a doctoral dissertation is right for you? Are there still many unanswered questions about preparing for the doctoral phase? Or would you like to talk to professors and PhD candidates? The Doctorate Day offers you the opportunity to find out about the doctorate process, financing options, support services at the University of Erfurt and other topics relevant to the doctorate.

In the evening, the University of Erfurt's PhD prize will be awarded. For the third time, the best dissertations of scientists whose work, both in terms of content and subject matter, was brilliantly written and submitted at the University of Erfurt in the past two years will be honoured.

    • Ask the Docs!
  • 4.00 p.m. Information stands of the following facilities and areas:
    • Academic Skills Training
    • PhD students' representation
    • Office for Equal Opportunity and Family Services
    • EPPP certified) graduate centres and Max-Weber-Kolleg
  • 6.00 p.m. Award of the University of Erfurt Doctoral Prize
  • From 7.00 p.m. The party must go on - by and with the doctoral students' representatives
