Dr. Dietmar Molthagen heads the Julius Leber Forum of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) in Hamburg, which offers a political education program on a wide range of topics and with a variety of methods. His personal expertise lies in questions of integration, the fight against right-wing extremism and the development of political attitudes in Germany. The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is the oldest political foundation in Germany, founded in 1925 and based on the ideas and values of social democracy – freedom, justice and solidarity. As an independent non-profit institution, the FES organises political education proigrams, gives political advice, has a scholarship program and is internationally active in more than 100 countries.
Besides his work, Molthagen teaches political communication as lecturer at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR) and is board member of a cultural foundation.
