Short Biography
Johannes Th. Nöldeke is a research associate and doctoral candidate in the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Stuttgart. In addition to his dissertation he teaches courses about „Theories, methods and modes of public participation“ and „Introduction to mediation“. Johannes Th. Nöldeke also works as a freelance moderator and mediator for public participation.
Prior to his engagement at the University of Stuttgart, Nöldeke was a project manager, moderator and mediator at DIALOG BASIS - an interdisciplinary, science-based dialogue organization with a main emphasis on stakeholder dialogues and public participation processes. He supervised projects mainly related to topics such as infrastructure, urban development and the energy transition in Germany.
Nöldeke studied Politics and International Relations at the Royal Holloway University of London and Public Policy at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt (with a focus on Conflict Studies and Management).
