Self-service check-in at the University Library

You do not need a library card to return books or other media. Select the "check-in" function and follow the instructions on the display. Place the returned media on the shelf nearby. It is also possible to borrow returned media again.

Media from the interlibrary loan and the Gotha Research Library as well as reserved media cannot be returned in self-service. Please return them at the circulation desk or outside service hours at the control desk.

Self-service check-out and check-in is available during the entire opening hours of the library, including weekends and evenings.
