The elections will take place electronically, the counting of the ballots will take place on 09.12.2022 from 12 o'clock.
Election proposals for candidates* can still be submitted until 21.11.2022 at 4 pm with the appropriate form in the Student Council office or electronically via email. Forms for election proposals are available in the office of the Student Council or online. Anyone who is registered in the electoral roll may vote and be elected. Each eligible voter has four votes, which can also be clustered for the election of members. The election regulations of the student body of 08.05.2020 apply to the elections of the student council.
The election documents are sent electronically to the university e-mail address of the eligible voters. The election documents consist of the election letter with the access data as well as information on how to conduct the election and how to use the election portal. Voting is done via Smart Link using the online voting system uniWAHL 6.1.3. Access to the online election is via the university intranet.
According to §6 (2) of the election regulations of the student body of the University of Erfurt, there is the possibility of postal voting. An eligible voter who is prevented from voting at the time of the election or who is unable to participate in the election for other reasons will receive separate absentee voting documents for the election upon written or electronic application. Absentee ballots may be requested until 12 noon on Nov. 21, 2022. Voting is considered to have taken place on time if the election letter is received by the election administration by the end of the voting period at 12 noon on 09.12.2022.
