(Drumroll, please.) We are delighted to announce that this year's Essay Prize has been awarded to Antonia Mitrenga for her outstanding essay, "Regressive Perspectives in a Modern Story: How The Iliad Exposes Madeline Miller's Adaptation, The Song of Achilles, as an Endorsement of Hegemonic Masculinity and Heteronormativity." Congratulations on this excellent achievement!

We’re now accepting submissions for the 2025 Essay Prize, awarded each year for an outstanding student paper in American or British Literature written during the  academic year  2024/25 (October 2024 – September 2025).
