The Department of Linguistics contributes to the BA degrees in English & American Studies, German Studies, Romance Studies, and Slavic Studies and the language-based MEd degrees.

We also offer an MA programme in Applied Linguistics.

Our research staff and PhD students are members of the interdisciplinary research group "Competence in Language: Issues in Language Development, Processing and Use".
