About the speaker:
After a Bachelor's degree in Drama, Art and Music Studies at the University of Bologna and a Master's degree in Theatre Pedagogy at the HMT Rostock, Katherina Große-Winkler first worked in the press department of the Sorbian National Ensemble in Bautzen and then as an independent theatre pedagogue and lecturer. From 2017 to 2021, Katherina Große-Winkler worked as a theatre pedagogue and diversity officer at the Theater der Jungen Welt in Leipzig. In the meantime, she has been employed as a consultant for higher education didactics at colleges of art and music for the Saxony Centre for Higher Education Didactics since 2022. As Katherina Große-Winkler has always been particularly interested in the social and psychological processes that accompany artistic-aesthetic processes, she completed a further Master's degree in Organisational and Personnel Development at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 2018 to 2020. The focus of her work is on dealing with the special conditions of artistic teaching, the use of artistic-aesthetic processes in teaching-learning contexts and discrimination-critical teaching with a special focus on inclusion.
