The Ethics Committee of the University of Erfurt gives an opinion on ethical aspects of research projects involving human beings upon application.
It supports researchers by providing advice and has the task of helping to assess ethical aspects of research projects involving human beings. In its statement, the Ethics Committee restricts itself exclusively to the assessment of ethical aspects of research projects carried out or supervised by members or relatives of the University of Erfurt and to the reasonableness of the experimental conditions for the test persons.
TERM OF OFFICE
The term of office of the elected members is three years (current term of office 1.10.2019-30.9.2022), whereby the term of office of the elected representatives from the group of doctoral students is one year.
