"Vaccination is a social contract"

The German Ethics Council stated in 2019 that vaccination is a social contract - "But we wondered whether society really behaves accordingly? Is there really something like a moral obligation to be vaccinated? And what happens if some people don't comply," asks Lars Korn. These are exactly the questions he has been dealing with in a research paper that is part of his dissertation. It has now been published in the renowned journal PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences).
