New Instagram account focuses on language development disorders

15 October is International Speech Development Disorders (SES) Day. It was created to raise public awareness of the issue. Scientists at the University of Erfurt have also taken up the topic and set up a new Instagram account, which aims to shed light on various aspects of SES, debunk myths and convey evidence-based knowledge by means of explanatory videos and stories during the week from 11 to 15 October.

Under the hashtags #TagderSES, #DenkSprache and #DenkSES, information and campaigns on the topic of language development disorders can be found there (and also on other social networks).

In order to inform as many parents, educators, teachers and other interested parties as possible, various influencers have also agreed to support the campaign:

By the way: In future, the new Instagram channel will also provide useful information on the topic of speech and communication impairments and, in addition to the exciting research projects of the scientists at the University of Erfurt in this area, will also provide information about action days and share evidence-based expert knowledge.
