Warm invitation to “Between Climate and Conflict – Global Security in Transition” with Alexandra Steinkraus (adelphi)

Organizer information

In light of the upcoming COP30, we invite you to our event “Between Climate and Conflict – Global Security in Transition” on Wednesday, 19 November, from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m in AMG 0007.

In her keynote talk, Alexandra Steinkraus from adelphi will explore the security dimensions of the climate crisis and discuss what the upcoming COP30 means for international security policy. The lecture will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session with the audience.

The event aims to shed light on the complex interconnections between climate change and global security. By looking beyond traditional military perspectives, we seek to examine how the climate crisis shapes international responsibilities, policy tensions, and future risks.
Please note: The talk will be held in English.

We look forward to seeing you!
