Lecture by Dr. Severin Halder, Allmende-Kontor Berlin, as part of the lecture series "Gardens: History, Form, Future" in the summer semester 2021. The event will be streamed on Youtube.

The Tempelhofer Feld has a turbulent history and is still a place of political debate about the value of urban green spaces. The Allmende-Kontor community garden is located on the field and is not only a place of lived urban gardening practice but also a stage for discussions about green open spaces, political ecologies, commons or the question "what we can learn from community gardens for the city of the future".

You can find the stream on our Youtube channel Uni Erfurt Live.

In the summer semester of 2021, the University of Erfurt and the University of Applied Sciences will once again jointly organise a public lecture series - due to Corona as an online event. This time the topic will be "Gärten: Geschichte, Gestalt, Zukunft" and is deliberately planned as a kind of supporting event for the BUGA 2021 in Erfurt.
