Opening hours of our service institutions during the lecture-free period

During the lecture-free period in the winter semester, some of the University of Erfurt's service units have changed their opening hours. Please take note of this.

University facilities

Department 1: Registrar's Office

The office hours by telephone are Monday to Friday from 9 to 11:30 am. On site, the colleagues are personally available from Monday to Thursday from 12 to 3 pm.

Erfurt University Library

The following opening hours apply in the University Library after the end of the examination period, i.e. from 14 February:

  • Monday to Friday: 9 am - 10 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm
  • Sunday: 1 - 6 pm

From 28 February, the shortened semester break times apply:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am - 2pm,
  • Saturday: 10 am - 4 pm,
  • Sunday: closed

From Monday, 4 April, the library will be open again regularly during the following times:

  • Monday - Friday: 9 am - 10 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm
  • Sunday: 1 - 6 pm

Gotha Research Library

The regular (pandemic) opening hours for lending, the reading area with the presence collection and the special reading room (Sonderlesesaal) in the castle apply: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the special reading room (Sonderlesesaal) in the Perthes Forum is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Update:

From 7 March 2022, the Gotha Research Library will reopen for regular service hours: The lending desk, the reading area with the reference collection and the special reading room will then be open Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to 6 pm. The current protective measures to contain the pandemic continue to apply.

Due to an internal event, the library will be closed on 7 March 2022 from 12.15 am to 2 pm.

University Computer and Media Centre (URMZ)

The opening hours at the Service Desk in the University Computer and Media Centre remain unchanged. The staff can be reached on site Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 3 pm, and by telephone Monday to Friday between 8 am and 3 pm.

The thoska office is open Tuesday between 1pm and 3pm and Thursday from 11am to 12pm.

The regular opening hours apply: Monday to Thursday 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1 - 3 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Cash Desk (Zahlstelle)

The regular opening hours apply: Tuesday and Thursday from 12 a.m. to 3 p.m. and by appointment.

 

Language Centre

The Language Centre is open during regular opening hours, but it is recommended to make appointments in advance by e-mail.

Open:

  • Monday: 10 am - 4 pm
  • Tuesday to Thursday: 8 am - 4 pm
  • Friday: 10 am - 2 pm

The Self-Study Centre (Selbstlernzentrum) is open until the end of February as follows:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm.
  • Tuesday and Friday: closed.

In March, the Self-Study Centre is closed.

From 14 February to 25 March, the following opening hours apply in the Student Services Centre canteens:
