Project study phase

Project study phase in the major

The bachelor thesis is written in the last year (5th/6th semester): In small groups of six to eight people, students apply the knowledge they have learned up to that point to the solution of real or near-realistic problems. Together with external project partners the topics and questions are developed. In the past, the ZDF, MTV, Premiere and the Pro-Sieben-SAT.1 group, T-Online, Deutsche Post or the Federal Press Office, among others, have been won as project partners.

Two-Subject-Bachelor

The major and minor subjects differ in terms of the content and scope of the course. In the major subject a Bachelor thesis is written.

Aptitude test

There is no admission restriction ("NC") for a Communication Science programme, but there are special admission requirements. This distinction is important, because we do not have a fixed number of places to be allocated, nor are there any so-called "successor places". The professional aptitude of prospective students is assessed in a aptitude test ("Eigungsfeststellungsverfahren").
