Victoria Jakob studied both Bachelor's and Master's degree in Political Science (focus on politics and law) at the University of Erfurt from 2014 to 2020. From 2018 to 2020, she was a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Ferhad Seyder at the Mustafa Barzani Center for Kurdish Studies at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Erfurt. During her studies, she published various essays and articles on the topics of the Middle East, Islam and geopolitical strategies. In addition, she collaborated on various publications by Prof. Dr. Seyder and supervised the series "Studia Kurdica". Since September 2020, she has been working as a parental leave replacement at the Office for Research and Graduate Service at the University of Erfurt.
