Prof. Dr. Till Talaulicar

Professor of Organization and Management at the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences

Till Talaulicar currently holds the Chair of Organization and Management at the University of Erfurt and is Associate Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences. Professor Talaulicar is Co-Editor-in-Chief of Corporate Governance: An International Review, Senior Editor of Management and Organization Review and serves on the Editorial Review Board of Organization Science. Moreover, he is Chairman of the Board of the International Corporate Governance Society which provides a forum for rigorous and relevant research, teaching and consulting that enhances corporate governance practices and systems within the global economy. Till Talaulicar obtained his doctoral degree and his venia legendi in business administration from the Technical University of Berlin. His dissertation thesis on corporate codes of ethics has been granted the research award by the Plansecur Foundation for best research in the field of business ethics. Prior to joining the University of Erfurt, he held the Chair of Corporate Governance & Board Dynamics and was the Academic Director of the Institute for Corporate Governance at Witten/Herdecke University. His main research and teaching expertise is in the areas of corporate governance, organization design and corporate ethics. He has published widely in these areas in German and international journals.


The research interests of Prof. Dr. Till Talaulicar are in the areas of corporate governance (particularly with regard to the systems, structures and processes of corporate governance as well as the determinants and consequences of the acceptance of internationally recognized standards of good and responsible management), organization design (particularly with regard to efficiency evaluations of organization structures as well as process research on interactions within and between the management board and the supervisory board) and corporate ethics (particularly with regard to the implementation of corporate ethics, design dimensions of corporate codes of ethics as well as corporate ethics of multinational enterprises).


Till Talaulicar offers lectures and seminars about a broad range of subjects from the fields of organization and management which include, inter alia, introductory and advanced courses on Organizational Behavior; Organizational Change; Organizational Structures; Organizational Theories; Public Governance and Strategic Management. He teaches in the bachelor and master programs of the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences as well as at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy.
