Access to network drives via WebDAV discontinued at the end of January

If you do not (or no longer) use access via WebDAV, there is nothing else for you to do.

As an alternative, existing users on the road or working from home can directly connect to the network drives as they do on campus. The prerequisite for this is a connection with eduVPN (selection "access to the institute"/Zugang zum Institut and profile "access employees"/Zugang Mitarbeiter).

On 16.01.2023 the University Computer and Media Centre (URMZ) will remove the authorization to use the WebDAV service as a first step. The URMZ therefore asks that you use the time until then to set up and test the alternative access to the network drives. Until 31.01.2023, access via WebDAV can be restored for a short time if problems occur. After that, the service will no longer be available.
