Our FDM introductory workshop on June 20 will address the fundamental question of why researchers should devote time and energy to research data management and how this should be done in concrete terms. The afternoon is devoted to a retrospective of TKFDM. What has happened in Thuringia in the field of research data management in the last 5 years, and what are the plans for the next 5 years?
On June 21 , subject-specific FDM offers for researchers will be presented in the morning and an overview will be given of the services that researchers can use, for example, via the National Research Data Infrastructure and the Subject Information Services. In the afternoon, an introduction to the topic of copyright and privacy rights in research data will follow, and we will gain insight into the use of iVA, a support tool for dealing with the topic of data protection. At both workshops, there is the possibility to send us questions about legal aspects in FDM as well as data protection in advance. Please use the question field in the registration form.
