As part of the Academic Skills Training Programme, the University of Erfurt cordially invites all its academics to a best practice forum on "Research Communication".

In addition to short inputs from scientists and journalists, the main aim is to exchange ideas about your experiences with communicating your own research to the scientific community and to society at large. Inputs on this day will come from:

  • Beatrice Lugger (Managing Director and Director of the National Institute for Research Communication, NaWik)
  • Professor Andreas Goldthau (Franz Haniel Professorship for Public Policy, Director of the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy)
  • Professor Thorsten Thiel (Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences, Professorship for Democracy Promotion and Digital Policy)
  • Professor Julia Knop (Professorship for Dogmatics, Faculty of Catholic Theology)
  • Melanie Haack (Head of the ZDF Regional Studio Thuringia in Erfurt, Member of the University Council)
  • Dr Dominique-Marcel Kosack (postdoctoral researcher at the European Graduate School on Theology in Religious, Cultural and Political Processes of Transformation, Faculty of Catholic Theology)
  • Professor Christiane Kuller (Professorship for Modern and Contemporary History and History Didactics, Faculty of Philosophy)

Professor André Brodocz, Vice President for Research and Academic Careers at the University of Erfurt, will moderate the event. This will be followed by a get-together in the foyer.
