Martin Christ, Junior Fellow at the Max Weber Kolleg, provides a new narrative of the Reformation in his 288-page book and shows that the concept of the "urban Reformation", in which cities are seen as centres of Lutheranism, needs to be re-evaluated, especially in cities in former East Germany. For more information on the book, please see our publications.
