Emergency call button on telephones automatically contacts 112

For a few days now, employees of the University of Erfurt have found the red "Emergency call" button on their phones in the office.

When you press the button, a confirmation prompt is first displayed. If you confirm with "Ja", the emergency call automatically goes out to 112 without having to type in the emergency number specifically. This function is intended to make it easier to make an emergency call in an emergency. We ask you to take note of this.
