ErfurtLab resumes operations

The Erfurt Laboratory for Empirical Research (ErfurtLab) at the University of Erfurt is gradually resuming operations on the basis of a hygiene protection concept agreed with the university management.

After the ErfurtLab had to close its doors in March, against the background of the rapid global spread of the corona virus, a large part of the investigations could only be carried out in the form of online surveys. Since  June 29, surveys can again be carried out on site, subject to compliance with additional hygiene measures, the most important measures for the protection of participants being the observance of a minimum distance, additional hand hygiene and regular ventilation of the laboratory rooms. In addition, not all available workplaces are being used for the time being.

The first study already started on Monday, further surveys, which were postponed due to the closure, will follow in the coming weeks.
