Public tours of the exhibition will take place on the following dates: 13 April, 20 April, 27 April, 11 May, 18 May, 25 May 2022 - 1pm each day.

The curator of the exhibition, Dr. Kathrin Paasch will lead tours of the exhibition on the following dates: Wednesday, 4 May, 1 June and 8 June, both at 5 p.m. and Saturday, 7 May and 18 June, both at 2 p.m.

The exhibition traces the eventful history of the Gotha Research Library, the origin of the books and the writing and thought movements of its readers. It tells the story(s) of Gotha's book and library history from the library's foundation in 1647 to the 21st century. It shows treasures and curiosities, presents everyday library life and is dedicated to the upheavals in library history from the second half of the 20th century.
