The programme will primarily create space for students' experiences and needs. As learners, they are essential addressees for the design of learning spaces and places as well as media-enriched teaching-learning settings, for methodological-didactic concepts or for the further development of the examination culture. They bring with them their own understanding of learning and student interaction, have selected media-related competences and at the same time need support in using digital tools and applications in their studies.
This year, the organisers are again focusing on interactive and experimental elements of trying things out, as well as poster presentations and thematic exchange islands on the day of the fair. In addition, the media labs of the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt will open their doors and there will be mini-workshops. The conference day is packed with impulse contributions, panel formats and additions to the trade fair day. The focus will be on student change projects, the topic of artificial intelligence in teaching as well as virtual reality in studies and the digitalisation of libraries.
Both event days are hybrid in design: You can attend in person and on site in Erfurt or join in via video stream or via a conference platform (BigBlueButton) and help shape discussions. All information on online participation can be found on the event website www.eteach-thueringen.de/jahrestagung. The digital conference office will provide support for technical questions and challenges.
This year's programme also includes a musical event with musicians from all over the world, a prompting station where guests can try out communication with an AI and a get-together with dinner.
