Prof. Rita Krueger (Temple University) is visiting the History Department

The History Department is pleased to welcome Prof. Rita Krueger to the University of Erfurt in November and December 2021. The visit is part of the cooperation between the Department and Temple University in Philadelphia.

Rita Krueger, Associate Professor at the Center for the Study of Force and Diplomacy (CENFAD), works on the history of Central and Eastern Europe with a special focus on the Habsburg monarchy in the 18th century. Her current project is a biography on the Austrian Empress Maria Theresa.

Prof. Krueger is visiting the Department of North American History as part of the cooperation between Temple University and the University of Erfurt. In addition to a regular exchange on the academic-scientific level, there is the possibility for Master students of history to spend a semester at Temple University.
