Re-registration period for the summer semester postponed

The re-registration period for students for the summer semester 2021 will be moved back by one month and reset to the period from 01.02.2021 to 01.03.2021.

All students will receive an email to their university mail account shortly before the start of this period (in the 4th week of 2021), in particular with the fees and contributions they will have to pay with the re-registration.

The Free State of Thuringia is currently discussing a possible extension of the period of validity of the "Mantel"-COVID Act, which could have an impact in particular on the calculation of long-term tuition fees and therefore makes it necessary to postpone the re-registration period.
