The lecture "Searching for traces - Gotha and the beginnings of adult education in Germany" by Prof. Dr. Olaf Kretzer (Suhl) unfortunately has to be cancelled.

Prof. Dr. Olaf Kretzer studied physics, astronomy and mathematics for the teaching profession at regular schools and grammar schools at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (FSU). This was followed by a doctorate at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy at FSU Jena and in 2014 he was appointed honorary professor at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences. Since 2015, he has been head of the vhs Suhl, head of the department of society and school-leaving qualifications, and head of the Suhl Observatory. Olaf Kretzer publishes on the history of astronomy and adult education.
