Further improvements to the university website

Another sprint was carried out for the University of Erfurt website in the 12th calendar week. The entire system was updated. The update to the TYPO3 v10 LTS version ensures that the site remains future-proof and that new technologies can also be used for further developments.

In addition to various bug fixes, there are now the following new features:

  • Three-column layout
    The standard page now has three additional page areas. Two more columns across the entire width of the page and one area with three columns.
  • Blog Plugin
    Analogous to the news, teasers to blog articles can now be integrated at any position.
  • Jump mark opens accordion tab
    Clicking on a link opens the linked tab. The visible image section is exactly at this position.
  • News list view
    In the label, the names of the categories are hidden in the news list view.  The colour of the label corresponds to the category, if more than one category is selected it becomes petrol.
  • Button for external Links
    For external links, downloads as well as e-mail addresses, buttons can also be assigned via the link style "Button".
  • Cookie extension
    Conversion of the cookie extension
