How far has Germany come in the last 14 months? And what are the criteria by which we should judge its progress? Join the Brandt Lecture with Vice Chairman of the Munich Security Conference Ambassador Boris Ruge on campus .

Ambassador Ruge previously served as Director Middle East/North Africa at the Foreign Office in Berlin, as German Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and as Deputy Ambassador to the US.

"Zeitenwende" is the watchword in the ongoing debate on German foreign policy. The paradigm shift, which the term conveys, refers to the changing world around us. But "Zeitenwende" is also shorthand for Germany’s response to this changing environment.
