Summer School: Weather Phenomena and Nature Observation

The Collection and Research Association Gotha - consisting of the Research Library and Research Centre Gotha of the University of Erfurt and the Friedenstein Castle Foundation - is organising a summer school on the subject of "Weather Phenomena. Observations and recordings of nature as elements of climate history". The application deadline has been extended and now ends on June, 25.

The event is part of this year's thematic focus of the Verbund, "Climate in a historical perspective". It is aimed at Master's and State Examination candidates, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral students from the historical cultural sciences (especially history, art history and the history of science) and introduces the participants to topics and methods of modern knowledge and cultural history as well as to the fields of activity of collection-keeping institutions on the basis of the Gotha collections.
