Feedback is key to learning success, but what characterises effective feedback? In this seminar, you will look at giving and receiving feedback in order to reflect on and improve feedback processes in teaching settings.
#Leadership skills
Teachers regularly find themselves in situations in which they give feedback to students or colleagues and receive feedback themselves. From I-messages to the WWW three-step, there are a number of recommendations that aim to support the formulation of constructive feedback. At the same time, there are situations in which there is no time to prepare the feedback, the message has not been received or the right words have not been found. And how can feedback be obtained to shape your own teaching? In this seminar, basic principles and design factors of constructive feedback are discussed, formulation aids are offered and feedback methods and tools are tested in practice. If you are interested, you are welcome to bring in and discuss your own case studies of challenging feedback situations.
Please note that the seminar comprises two dates and attendance is expected on both days. Please allow 30 to 40 minutes between the two dates for a voluntary in-depth discussion in order to benefit as much as possible from the seminar.
