The slide lecture will address Warhol's art and multi-faceted identity in light of seven years of forensic research through Warhol's archives . Blake Gopnik has interviewed over 300 people who knew and worked with the artist as well. Blake Gopnik's immersive and visceral new biography on Warhol calls for a re-evaluation of the artist's influence and importance for American art and society.
