Guest Lecture with Ado Hasanovic at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy.

ADO HASANOVIC is a film director based in Rome, Italy. He is born in Srebrenica in 1986 and survived the genocide in Srebrenica with his parents. His first feature film “Ja Sam Ana” is currently in development with the Italian production “Il Gigante” and “39Films” and in co-production with Serbian “This and That Production” and Hungarian “Foxusfox.” The project won the Focus-Fox Studio Award at 15th Sofia Meetings. In 2018, Hasanovic founded the Cultural Association “Admon Film,” with education and the promotion of film culture as one of its main goals. On August 20th of 2019, Ado Hasanović was awarded the “Sarajevan Golden Medallion” by Mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka, as a special recognition for his cultural achievements.
