The Student Council (StuRa) of the University of Erfurt represents the interests of enrolled students at the university. It takes care of the higher education policy, academic, social and cultural interests of the students and supports academic and professional initiatives. The Student Council promotes the political education of students and maintains supra-regional and international student relations.
We are students ourselves at the University of Erfurt. A new Student Council is elected once a year. You are welcome to come to us with any concerns about studying, the campus, the university, the city of Erfurt and studying in Thuringia. In various departments we can help you with advice and support.
All students who are studying in Erfurt can run for the Student Council. In addition to elected members, there is also the opportunity to help shape the Student Council as a freelance employee. Anyone studying at the University of Erfurt can become a freelance employee.
Your involvement is the key: get involved in the Student Council. Whether as an elected member, as a freelance employee in any department (or in new departments!), or as a student who wants to make a difference on campus. We are open to you and your input. The university is *OUR* place, so let's make sure it looks like that together!
We decide what we do in weekly meetings. Everyone is free to attend them. So feel free to come along! You can find the current agenda of our weekly meetinghere.
We want to turn the university into something we like. A place where we like to be and where we like to learn. A place that makes us want more. Join in!
