The University of Erfurt is represented with various Facebook accounts – both centralised and decentralised. We are pleased about the possibilities of communicating with you and informing you there, but we are also aware that Facebook collects personal data of its users and visitors to the site and therefore point this out again separately in our data protection information.
The University of Erfurt is also represented on YouTube, probably the best-known video portal. Here you will find videos that provide insights into our research and teaching and introduce our university. By the way, you can watch them without having to register with YouTube.
The University of Erfurt does not use social media plug-ins on its website (www.uni-erfurt.de). Nevertheless, we would like to point out that providers such as Facebook already collect personal data when you call up the site, e.g. by clicking on links, which can be used technically to build up a personal profile. It is irrelevant whether you are a member of the social network and logged in.
The University of Erfurt has no influence on the collection of data. Please note the data protection information of the respective providers.
