Registration and borrowing

All parts of the Perthes Collection, including the Henze Library, are reference holdings of the Gotha Research Library. Their use is subject to specific Terms and Conditions  (PDF). If you wish to carry out research and reserve holdings, please first consult the section entitled Accessing the holdings.

Following registration, the holdings may be used  in the special reading room during the opening hours of the Research Library, provided their state of preservation so permits. Borrowing the holdings for use elsewhere is not permitted. Holdings that can be reserved online are made available within two days. The use of maps is by appointment in Perthes forum, Justus-Perthes-Straße 5, 99867 Gotha, possible.
