In an increasingly digitalised world, children encounter information, images and videos at an early age, the truth of which they can hardly assess. Teachers in particular face the challenge of helping pupils to deal with digital content in a critical, reflective and responsible manner.
In the workshop, methods that can be used in educational work on the topic of "fake news" will be tried out and discussed. In the context of primary schools, the main aim is to sensitise children to advertising, chain letters and fake images and videos.
It is also about the question of what is permitted in the digital space and how socially responsible interaction can succeed.
