Farewell to Dr. Hakan Cangır and Çiğdem Alparda Cangır

After five years of successful collaboration, the Language Centre and the Professorship of Applied Linguistics will say goodbye to their lecturer from the Turkish government Dr. Hakan Cangır and his wife Çiğdem Alparda Cangır. They will leave Erfurt at the end of the summer semester 2025.

The university owes a large number of Turkish language and conversation courses as well as linguistics seminars to Dr. Cangır. Mrs. Alparda Cangır has supported the Language Centre with English language courses for students and employees. Following this fruitful cooperation with the Turkish Consulate, they return to Turkey as planned. We would like to thank them and wish them all the best for the future.
