Equality Plan of the Max-Weber-Kolleg

The Max-Weber-Kolleg is committed to the actual realisation of the constitutionally guaranteed equality of persons of each gender. In particular, the Kolleg works to ensure that, in the field of young academics, all persons are given the same opportunities for development through intensive support and that any disadvantages are eliminated through targeted measures. In concrete terms, the Max-Weber-Kolleg's Equality Plan pursues three main goals:

  1. ensuring equal access opportunities to all positions in science and administration for persons of each gender
  2. increasing the proportion of female junior academics and professors
  3. improving the compatibility of career or studies and family responsibilities for all concerned
