Pragmatist Business Ethics

Building on the systematic reflections on a pragmatist social and business ethics in my habilitation thesis ("Understanding Volunteerism"), my new project will further develop elements of a pragmatist business ethics. In doing so, the action-theoretical foundation will be given special consideration and the importance of emotions, physicality, creativity, routines, situations, patterns of interpretation and collective narratives will be taken into account. These considerations will be developed on the basis of a concrete business ethics problem complex - that of corruption - a topic that has become the focus of public and academic attention in a special way over the last twenty years.
