Information from the organisers

The eTeach team has brought the prompting station from Weimar to the UE for a fortnight and is getting support from the eTeach network on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) for this occasion. AI has long been part of our (academic) everyday life - whether in text, image or information processing. This 2-hour workshop offers teachers at the University of Erfurt a practical introduction to central concepts, possible applications and challenges of AI. Using current examples and interactive elements, participants will learn how to categorise AI tools, use them sensibly and integrate them critically into lecturers in terms of data protection.

At the end of October, members of the University of Erfurt will have two weeks to test the AI tools in the ‘eduroom’ at the Prompting Station and find out how much work they can really take off our hands.
