The fact that media education is one of the tasks of schools is now widely recognised (and also anchored in the curriculum). Accordingly, teacher training is obliged to train teachers who are competent in media education, who in turn can promote their students' competent use of media and successfully use media to organise lessons. But how can media education succeed in teacher training? What role do we play as a university (in interaction with the 2nd and 3rd phases of teacher training)? And how can we implement media education at our university in an integrated manner?
