International Affairs

The International Affairs Department (Referat Internationales) within the Student Council (StuRa) actively advocates for the rights, interests, and integration of all international students at the University of Erfurt. Our central mission is to foster an open-minded and non-discriminatory university culture. We offer easily accessible initial counselling and practical orientation assistance to international students on all matters concerning student life and studies in Erfurt. To ensure the best possible support, we collaborate closely and in a coordinated manner with the University's International Office.

In addition to counselling, a core objective is promoting cross-cultural exchange. We initiate networking between international and German students through joint projects and events. As the elected student representative body, we advocate in university politics for equal rights and the improvement of general study conditions. Through cooperation with Faculty Student Councils (Fachschaftsräte) and university groups, we ensure that international perspectives are brought into the entire student body.
